He was born April 11, 1955 in Wheeling, WV, the son of the late Curtis and Maxine Wilson Blake. He retired from Consol Coal Mine Company. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He loved his family and especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Dawn Cole. He is survived by his wife of 42 years Darlene Aracich Blake, two sons Tommy Cole (Jeni), George Cole (Tracy) all of Wellsburg, WV, and one daughter Amanda Blake of Pittsburgh, PA, six grandchildren Derek Sullivan, Blake and Thomas. Cole, Darion, Lexi and Lani Cole, and three great-grandchildren Dawson, Paisley and Griffin. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 20, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Reasner Funeral Home 1515 Charles St. Wellsburg, WV. Service on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Garrison officiating. Burial will follow in Kadesh Chapel Cemetery, Wellsburg, WV.
