Very warm weather ahead… Little to no rain… Wednesday PM forecast update

Seven days 640 12

Good Wednesday afternoon! Our local weather turned out to be warm this afternoon, but intermittent cloud cover has kept most of the area below 80 degrees. Rain is mostly not visible today, but a few small showers are visible on the radar. These will fade after sunset. The risk of rain for a given location is less than 5%. Temperatures will drop into the upper 50s at night.

Thursday will be a very warm day, with highs returning to the lower 80s. A brief afternoon shower or storm is possible north of I-20.

The coming weekend will see plenty of sunshine, with an afternoon high in the lower to mid 80s. Some areas in western Alabama could briefly reach the upper 80s for an afternoon high.

Some scattered showers and storms are possible late Monday and Tuesday next week, but widespread rain appears unlikely at this time.
